Gere has no interest in actually helping anyone. He only wants to show up, virtue signal and try to make governments that will not do as he asked look bad/mean/evil. Gere will leave on his jet and tell his Hollywood friends how much work he has done for refugees having never housed or actually taken care of a single one of them. We used to call these limousine liberals. Now perhaps it is Lear Jet liberals.
