Anyone has the right to call out someone on stolen valor, especially when the one being called out is using it for personal gain. Blumenthal is technically a Vietnam vet, as is everyone who served during the timeframe. His shame comes in with his claims to have served in Vietnam. I was awarded the Vietnam service medal even though I didn't join until we were drawing down from the war and I didn't deploy. Blumenthal's lack of integrity is no surprise. I don't know if this character flaw comes from being a lawyer, a democrat, or being a politician but, he needs to be held accountable for his obvious lies. Many of his claims are simply a play on words but, claiming to have served in Vietnam is not acceptable.

SFC William Farrell
MSgt David Snow There is no technicality to it David; he is not a Vietnam veteran. He is a Vietnam era veteran and even thats pushing it as he joined the reserves to avoid Vietnam. He's a coward as far as I am concerned.
On another note, you are saying you received the Vietnam Service medal even though you never set foot in Vietnam? Did you ever fly in there? Just curious. Thanks for your input.
