I got to see Bob Hope's show at Anderson AFB on Guam in 1967.
On the DMZ Korea 1973, no one was allowed to go south to see his show, we were on alert at that time.

I hated those shows, couldn't put myself in a crowd of thousands for entertainment I really didn't enjoy. I usually got around it by volunteering to take duty for someone else. I still can't stand crowds.
