Folks are going to call this "fake news" but there really isn't anything "new" I've seen or read so far. Kelly HAS been claimed before to have called Trump names, and Kelly has denied it then as he does now. Dowd was also rumored to have called Trump names to include when he quit being Trumps attorney. Tillerson has said it in any PC way you want to take it, to include his farewell address to the State Dept.
What got me was the audio transcript where Trump calls dude and they begin talking about the book. It appears the author tried to do everything possible to get in touch with Trump directly and officially and somehow it wasn't done. The excuses run the gamut but in the end, Trumps people knew. Conway knew and even tried to play it off when she gets called out. Sen. Graham knew, and even mentioned it to Trump "in passing", and in mentioning "in passing" you're admitting you knew the author tried to get hold of you. This is one time Trump got in his own way, and cannot openly discredit the author for what is reported. For once, it seems someone tried to do the honest legwork and the principal just wasn't having it at all. Hell after being told it's too late, now you want to plug your accomplishments? Dude was pretty firm on the fact he gave you a chance and folks to include you blew it.
So now the question becomes what is Trump going to do now? You cannot keep tweeting "fake news" every time something is posted or made that isn't in accordance with what you want to see out there. Can you keep "White House Counsel" who admits she could've pulled the reins in on this and didn't, a CofS who has on numerous occasions been quoted as calling you names? A press office who also knew in advance and could've put you in touch with the author to quell some of the books "fire" and get some of your own points in there? It seems Trump wants to clean house, but "cleaning house" with Sessions is the least of his worries. Maybe it's time that everyone who knew about this, begins the process of nominating replacements ASAP, and this time Trump actually picks people who will work for him, not against him or him against them.

Based on Woodward's past history, I believe this book will be pretty accurate. He has a reputation of getting the truth out.
