From his facebook: Drew served active duty as an MP from 2006 to 2011, which also included tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. While working as a private contractor in Iraq during 2015, his Facebook page, A Combat Veteran, was born.
with that being said, I doubt he "retired" as a SFC with 5 years in. Nothing against him. i enjoy his videos and his attitude.

I don't have a facebook SSG James Pefley. Never did probably never will. I am more discrete than that. Rally point is my first form of social media. The information I obtained about him was from the numerous videos I watched. Might've gotten the rank and years in service wrong. Oops.
