This was a book review of Mike Hayden’s book “THE ASSAULT ON INTELLIGENCE: American National Security in the Age of Lies” and Jim Clapper’s “FACTS and FEARS: Hard Truths from a Life in Intelligence (. Both are well written and informative for the general reader; but neither book makes any “new” news with the content of each being familiar to all those conversant with current events, especially with regards to the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC) and the various investigations into Russia’s interference with the 2016 presidential elections.
*** What I failed to see if this book review or on their many TV appearances is why no one is asking why the past POTUS and administration allowed or failed to stop Russia from what they continue to report? If they new it was happening, what did they do to stop or impede Russia. This happened on the last administrations watch. Why is everyone acting like it was current admin fault?

Very good questions. The past Administration failed miserably in foreign policy. Many of those failures are being dealt with now.

Because it doesn't suit their narrative to blame the Democratic poster child for anything. If I see one more idiotic post saying no scandals in thd Obama administration, I will buy a fast and furious weapon, shoot them and blame it on a video.
