Booker Goes Bonkers with Plan to Regulate 2A as Privilege

It isn't a "privilege" you moron. Like AOC you don't know your constitution or Bill of Rights.

They want us to be like Venezuela.

I've known enough "well-intentioned" gun control activists to realize that whatever they say or propose... the end goal is disarmament; legally and socially. Engaged in a debate with one, I eventually asked, "so if your family was under direct threat, and you had a firearm... you wouldn't use it?" They responded, rather pained, that no, they wouldn't. It was clear to me then, as it is now, that for some... perhaps many, the notion that violence is sometimes the solution, simply doesn't compute. They are resting their hopes on an ethereal notion that given enough regulations, enough oversight, enough CONTROL... society will eventually become "free" of violence, and the factors that propel it, such as poverty, envy, and revenge.

Personally, I don't think humanity will ever achieve that goal, and all we'll be left with, are uber-powerful, central governments simultaneously trying to feed and regulate heavily dependent populations... the perfect recipe for unrest, uprising, and widespread crime.

That's why I fear any attempt to alter, let alone repeal the 2nd Amendment.
