Breaking with tradition of having a Combat Arms CSM, USAREUR announces CSM Sheryl D. Lyon to arrive in May
With the myriad of dicussions concerning females capabilities to serve in this capacity or to make it throuhg that course, I wanted to share the news of the selection of the new USAREUR CSM, CSM Sheryl D. Lyon. I am happy to see this selection for a couple reasons, she is an exceptional leader with a proven career of distinction and it doesn't hurt that she is from the great state of KY.
So, with her selection to serve as the Senior Enlisted Leader in this strategic post does this help to level the playing field so that we select the absolute very best to serve in these demanding positions

Excellent accomplishment and well deserved! Also, pretty awesome that it's announced during Women's History Month!
Too bad Kentucky is going to get beat by Arizona in the tournament! Had to go there lol.
