Is baseball the next professional sport to be accessible to only the rich? This seems like a crazy move to me, I've worked with plenty of sports fans who have no credit cards either by choice or poor credit. Baseball was the last professional sport where one could bring the family and not break the bank so cutting off any segment of the fan base seems unwise. I know we're moving more and more towards a cashless society, but what about all the people who can't afford fancy cell phones with auto pay apps and/or just don't have credit cards? What say you RPers?

Won't matter because average attendance at the Trop is already as low as it can go! The Rays might as well play all their games on the road.

Ya that what really surprises me. Logic says they would be trying everything they can to get more people through the turnstiles. This seems to do just the opposite, especially when you consider the economy of the Tampa Bay area.
