SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL Buford T. Justice is all the disclaimer that should be necessary. To me, it is Jackie Gleason as Buford T. Justice that makes the film. It would not have been the same with a different actor, or without the character in the film. I had forgotten about the "Germans have nothing to do with it" Of course the racial comments would not be allowed today.
