Fox News cut its own throat by alienating its viewers. However, the folks from CNN and MSNBC shouldn't celebrate too much, their numbers have not gone up as the Fox numbers when down. The Fox viewers have switched to internet based news and left the TV News Channels behind.

Fox was l;losing the demographics wars and had to make a change, not to mention the the lawsuites and such were seeming starting to hurt the parent company. the demographic they were strongest in was the one that advertisers care about the least.
