PO1 William "Chip" Nagel I do wish you would post California’s continuing weirdness under “HUMOR”.

CSM Charles Hayden 26 Years I worked in Telecommunications, 5 Years working for Sprint (Fiber Optics to Support High Speed Internet to include the ION Project). 3 Years in the Military I was Connected to the MILNET/ARPANET Project Forerunner to the Internet. Nothing Weird about this. Glad to See California Doing Something Right Unlike others in this Country. I Applaud this Law.

The irony here is that "net neutrality" as California seems to be attempting to define it … reminds me vaguely of the U.S. interstate system some years back … more recently modified by "managed lanes" (see Houston, TX and Atlanta, GA for examples). Those managed lanes do little, if anything, to alleviate traffic congestion for the average schmuck (I've driven in both recently). I suspect that, as with the interstates through liberal cities, if the internet gets bogged down by a small class of high bandwidth users, "net neutrality", just like interstate neutrality, will go by the wayside. In the meantime, it sounds good.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - Thank you, Chip. I feel very honored: both by your kind words and you; and to live in California.
