PO3 Steven Sherrill Mr. Camps last paragraph is what I've been saying for a while. Vote in your local elections. The only way to keep them out of Washington is to defeat them at the local level. Great share

SGT (Join to see) I agree wholeheartedly. I never have understood the huge lines to vote in the presidential elections, followed by the high disregard for mid-term elections. Combine that with special elections and local elections that happen in between, and it is really simple: If you don't vote, you don't have a voice. It doesn't matter how a person votes, so long as they cast that vote. The caveat to this is that we have a responsibility as voters to be educated on the issues and candidates which will appear on our ballot. Too often, there are initiatives that are worded with a double negative so voting yes is a vote against an initiative. An educated voter is the scariest thing in the world to a politician.

We are so bombed every year with new restrictive bills, California will be the model the rest of the country will take to neutralize the 2nd amendment. What happens here, is looked at nationwide and shows up in your states. Makes it harder when the red coalition starts leaning liberal blue.
