Interesting thought but where does the medical profession sit on this? I'm a bit jaded, but somehow think they are happy with the status quo because it draws in so many more specialties in treating the symptoms that lead to suicides. Kind of a follow the money thing.

Those who want to commit suicide are invariably exceedingly depressed; and don't want to/feel they can't deal with their pain anymore.
