The Democrats don't care if it's a false accusation. That's the whole point. It's an accusation that they can exploit and take the president off message. Personally I think the president has been well-defended enough by others and he should let them continue to say they were with him and he never made the comments while he goes on to the economy and recovering from covid-19 and how he's going to make the next four years better. Let his surrogates fight this BS battle for him. Don't go off of message which is exactly what they want him to do! Well he's defending himself Joe Biden is out there reading speeches off a teleprompter. President Trump has done so much good for the military that it just goes against the grain. I will admit that he didn't have such favorable comments about Senator John McCain. But that one's not even an issue.
