Changes to grueling Special Forces course draw scrutiny, there’s ‘balancing act’

I believe its a big mistake to change the pipeline because it compromises one of the main SOF imperatives - "SOF operators cannot be mass produced"

This plan is doomed for failure, or the failure of future missions. At a time when the SMA is (appropriately) touting mastery of fundamentals, this plan is quite the opposite. One can only hope that senior leaders put a stop to this plan and ensure the continued development of our nations finest in a manner that prepares them for the rigors of mission that they will surely face. Our warriors deserve the best as we ask so much of them.
