SSgt Donald Libby Figure the odds of the two of them re-uniting in Nam. I spent 23 years in the Navy and never met an old childhood buddy! Almost all my childhood buddies went into the military, and to this day, I do not know the whereabouts of most of them! Wonderful story.

I posted the article because I thought it was quite interesting. On a shorter time-scale my high school friend and I joined the AF together in 1965. Two years later we ran into one another of all places Danang.

When I was in Danang, I ran into my brother, who was in the Marines in Chu Lai. Later when I was iin Dong Ha, I again ran into my brother who was up at Kai San in the Marines. So we wound up getting together a couple of times in country after having not seen each other for years.
