Being the root of much of the world's problems, both historically and contemporarily, I will never advocate for religion. However to call for its complete annihilation and to attempt to eliminate religious practices using violent means is morally wrong. The Chinese government is no better than those who will wage war for religious reasons or use religion to try to dictate others' lives.
