China's blueprint for global dominance

Becoming isolationist would not help. We must have a strong military force around the world, not just within our boundaries.

Three things to do immediately-
1) build up our military
2) end unfair trade practices that give China windfall profits in many trade sectors
3) end China's lax laws on intellectual property theft that encourage industrial espionage by Chinese firms

Trump has and is doing #1, with much resistance from the other party.
Ending #2 is the goal of the trade struggles and tariff wars with China over the last 18 months. The US appears to finally have the advantage. We must keep the tariffs effort in place until we have won.
China announced just this past week that they have, under pressure from the present administration, passed a law that addresses #3. We will have to watch to see if the law is enforced.

Remember, for the last roughly 2,500 years, from about 500BC until now, China has been the most powerful nation on Earth for all but about 500 of those years. The An Lushan Rebellion, the Mongol invasions, and the last 200 years are the exceptions. In Chinese terms, things are merely, "...returning to normal."
