I believe China will be a bigger Stategic Threat than GOLF Delta Climate Change. The fear of China is bigger than the 12 year countdown AOC, POTUS Biden and Bernie Sanders warn us about.
The Silk Road Initiative is paying off. China offers Infrastructure projects to poorer countries and when it comes time to pay up, China extorts bases or access to their country.
Let's fight in Congress to make sure the democrats don't take money away from defence to put into climate change. We need every penny we can to upgrade our systems against the Chinese and the Russians. China and India get 20 years to do nothing while we have cut back significantly and we don't need to cut back 50% like our president wants us to.

The forward deployment of China and Her Military Forces has a specific long range purpose for the future to spread their influence and control to global levels. The island bases already in use are there to accomplish that same widespread goal. Make No mistake about the threat China is becoming to spread that global control.

China sees in Africa what the West has failed to for decades. A vast source of resources, both human and natural, which they can control through well thought out and placed aid. Since China thinks in terms of decades or even centuries, not a 5 year plan, the general is most likely right.

Isn't it rather perplexing why the anti-colonialists don't call out china's global colonialization push. Why was it bad for the US or Europe, but somehow china is immune from their ire.

One of my soldiers that deployed Africa said that the U.S military can't bribe while the chinese can. This gains are foothold. Their military goes to chinese academies. We lose our influence and we get kicked out of Africa because we don't bribe and give freebies. Some of those countries can't make the payments to China. China then seizes ports and airfields for the PLA and/or the PLAN Is and their empire grows. It is a trap.
What Trump says about China?Taking over the Panama canal may not be true now, but I am sure it's a long term goal. If panama is charging us more Per thousand ton compared to other nations, Trump has an issue if that is true.

The problem is sadly two sided. China is offering help/assistance/money.
We are not.
