I laugh at former POTUS Obama saying that Climate Change is the #1 threat to mankind. Meanwhile Canada, the EU (Germany, France, Canada and many other members pay lip service to the 2% GDP goal toward Defense yet plug their media with Carbon Tax/ Carbon Capture regulations which affects their GDP which makes them not put their 2%. Saving the earth BS is misguided now that our trading Frenemies have gone in a long- term 5/10/20 year plan to be dominant in the world while Democrats, Greens and Liberals ignore the Tories and Republicans and waste money.

LTC John Mohor luckily, it was Wolf Blitzer Situation Room recording. I put it on pause and had my daughter posed for it. She ate the pizza! This was taken 3 years ago.

That MFPOS makes TrueDope look like a genius. I am one of MANY who is very concerned that this prick is not yet done with America. He (and others) are planning a coup of some kind. It may feature his wife, and that would be much to hard to take if those demons are successful.

If you talk to the Navy they're very troubled by climate change - it very much affects their operations (typhoons aren't good for fleets). Also, a lot of ports and bases are dealing with increased flooding. It eats up budget and denies us use of critical facilities for power projection. If you're talking about our next big war, you're probably going to talk about China - and that's in the Pacific, which is mostly water and any Army or USMC force will be supplied across a long maritime logistical chain at the mercy of the Pacific's weather systems. It's a real thing - logistics win wars.

A strong military is a must, but our leadership must also be strong, resolute, and wise. The one thing this country has not had (at least since 1940) is a POTUS that would step away once the decision to fight has been made. The Arcadia Conference held DEC 1941 to JAN 1942 determined that Europe was to be the first priority of the Allies in WWII. This is the type of grand strategy that should come from our political leadership. The actual conduct of any war should be left to the professionals without a bunch of mealy mouthed political hacks always sticking their oar in.

And it just got weaker with the departure of Mattis. The last thing the military needs is another administration yes man, but based on all the other Cabinet replacements that's exactly what is coming.
