Hi CW3 Dylan E. Raymond, PHR - Great video. What would you say are the most "in demand" jobs for the Oil and Gas industry right now. Also, what careers do you see veterans really excelling at?

Great question there are several career paths that servicemembers can excel in. I deal with 3 streams Graduate recruiting, Experienced professional 3 or more years of experience and operations, craft and maintenance. So Operations Craft and maintenance is individuals that dont mind rolling up there sleeves, working outdoors, turning wrenches and that is in the maintenance ie mechanics, millwright and machinists, electricians, Instrumentation Technician. The service member is bringing to the table safety, troubleshooting skills, working towards a goal and mission accomplishment. There is a strain and challenge in the industry from the baby boomers to millenniums, and military for sure can fill the Gap. There is also a shortage of women that pursue this career field. Not sure if it is lack of knowledge, confidence or dont know how. Thats why i am here to help you through the process.
We also have opportunities in the Experience professional area visit http://www.shell.us/militay Most of the experienced professional roles will require you to have a degree. Usually degrees and background in Logistics, Supply chain, Management, Engineering , Finance, MBA usually transition nicely.
However we have a Marine Corp Infantry Officer with a history degree first role was in finance because he served as a Executive Officer.
