I thought these files were supposed to be locked for 75 years? Now that they will be released the theories and questions can rest

What I can tell is the formal date of the release was determined by the JFK Assassination Records Collection of Act of 1992 signed by President Bush, SR had the release date of today.

I do not believe that there is a breakdown of exactly what he locked and what he didn't. I know that he banned a lot of information that pre-dated his vice presidency as well as a lot of post assasination stuff. I have not seen a list of what he picked and what he didn't tho I'm sure someone has a list. A lot of USS Liberty (June 1967) documents fell under his 75 year ban as well.
