Climate change may force more farmers and ranchers to consider irrigation — at a steep cost

We ran in irrigation reel on our farm for years to keep cotton alive until a rain came. Pumped water from well into a pond and then irrigated out of the pond. Nothing new but it is an unforeseen cost if you aren't prepared to do so.
