I have posted many times making fun of California. It's my right. I live in California and am the victim of the many cruel jokes that the Democrats foist upon the people here. This is the latest. "What cruelty?" I hear you cry. They're giving you money. Right. They are going to take money from the utilities that serve us and give it to We the Customers. In other words, they're going to make it less profitable for those who serve us making it unlikely that we will receive better service (we're not currently receiving adequate services as it is as witnessed in rolling brown outs each summer). And why are they giving us this money? They claim it is in service of preventing "climate change". C'mon, you know that isn't true. Giving us money isn't going to help climate change. They're buying votes so that they can remain in power and enrich themselves even more.
