Aurora police have been under fire for quite a while. Drunken officer found in cruiser sleeping it off while on duty and armed, any civilian would have gone directly to jail and had his weapon confiscated. Not so for him, he was put back on duty and it took a long time to even get an investigation started. And this was just one of many problems showing up in the past two or so years.
