I broke my ankle and combative don't plant your foot question that is 60 pounds heavier than you. Oh well no Airborne school but I'm too old to jump anyway. 10% disabled but I can still get to 295 on my APFT at the age of 54.

Not only impressive at any age, it shows more determination & intestinal fortitude than many that have joined our ranks in the last decade.

1SG (Join to see) - thanks yes I join the National Guard at 31 years old. Officer at almost 34. Took my time due to politics and the guard to make Captain at age 43. Major at 49 period completed cgsoc so hopefully I will be Hotel Colonel by 55 or 56. I'm slow going up the ranks Aladdin 22 years and I'm still in shock. No midlife crisis for me and I deliver for UPS as a driver. I'm not no hero it's you Junior enlisted, non commissioned officers and officers who are.
