What's normal life? Hard to come home and shift gears into "normal life". Anyone miss the adrenaline and excitement?

TSgt David L. Adrenaline? Excitement? Hell No. Miss the Ready Access to the Biggest, Fanciest, Most Expensive Technology. Most Definitely. "Need to Know" "I Need to Know Everything Since I am Providing Your Communications Supports" COMINT, SIGINT, ELINT, COUNTER-INTEL They all had to Include Me in the Mix. 25 Digraphs, Trigraphs after My Name for the Programs I had Already Been Read Into and Always followed by "Communicators Access" General Catch All. I've Read PEO Presidents Eyes Only Messages and the CIA, NSA, DIA Daily Intelligence Brief was My Morning Newspaper.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - Different deal altogether. The Intel I read was off of the SIPRNET but besides Predator videos all we cared about was IED intel to track trigger and ordnance trends for our cats down range. Throw on a bomb suit and tackle a roadside IED or VBIED if you want a wake up call. I still don't drink coffee. Never needed it.
We had some pretty cool toys as well.
