I Know How Much Drinking is a Significant Part of Australian Culture but this is Just Not Ignored anymore in the Military.

I’ve been to Australia several times and while drinking is part of their culture, drunk driving is not, due to the fact in years past it has killed and injured many and caused a lot of property damage. The Australian Police really crack down hard on drunk drivers with repeat offenders having their cars confiscated and destroyed! The Australians cut this Marine Colonel some big time slack! And of course his career is over.
