Even if her numbers are correct, they support concealed carry. 9,000 homicides with firearm versus "just" 265 justifiable homicides, or 34 criminal homicides to every 1 justifiable homicide. What she is really saying is the use of a firearm in self defense that resulted in the death of the attacker reduced the homicide rate by 2.8%. This omits those saved from being murdered where the attacker was not mortally wounded.
Sounds like more than enough justification for me to continue to be prepared to defend my life and the lives of my loved ones.

1SG, good catch. I saw that as well but I did not notice her comments on those 265. I guess we should just let them be killed.
