We all know someone who is perpetually negative and tends to bring everyone down with them. For these people, life is always against them and they can never seem to catch a break. They eventually find themselves alone since their negativity can be physically exhausting to be around. The bigger issue is that constantly complaining rewires your brain...

I know a lot of negative people and avoid them Lt Col Charlie Brown I won;t let them bring me down or tranish my postive attitude toward life. I will extend a hand to them and make an attempt to bring them over to the positive side, but they must be willing to change as well.

Thanks for sharing this important topic! I have had quite a few friends in my life whose pictures should be in the dictionary by this term! I literally had to start letting their phone calls go to voicemail so I could just listen when I was ready to take it on. One gal I worked with even had- no kidding!- a voice just like Eyore's! I agree it is very exhausting, and it eventually rubs off on the listener, who runs the risk of getting sucked in to the negativity. It is so fascinating how the brain "wiring" organically changes in response to various prolonged stimuli.
