Ever notice that who ever is running for President just wrote (had someone write) a book about themselves and got paid millions before a single book sold.

Kamala Harris $446,875 advance for the book and an additional $49,900 for a young reader’s edition - Penguin House - same book company that paid out $65 million for Obama's post president book deal.
Elizabeth Warren, who reported a $300,000 advance for her book

It’s a wash. Same as the Abortion mill industry linked to Democrats, Auto Unions, Education Industrial Complex linked to Democrats, Government Unions linked to Democrats. They take money from taxpayers, give it to these groups and these groups then use or money to pay off Democrats. SPC David S.

SPC David S. - Nothing wrong with book deals. Nothing wrong with making money out of office at all per se. The ethical problem happens when a person does something before or after office that gives the appearance that it improperly impacted the decisions made while in office.

For example, being in Congress and making legislation that has direct impact on a company's bottom line and then going to work for said company right after leaving office brings up ethical concerns.

For speaking deals and book deals it is hard to make a connection that getting said deals is improperly influencing their decision making while in office.

SPC David S. - Trump told us he was abusing his power when he released the transcript of that call.

SPC Kevin Ford - No he didn't he as well as the Ukrainian president stated that there was nothing wrong with the call - even released the transcript. To be honest Democrats said he was abusing his power - based on a complaint by an individual who used to work for a Democrat (Joe Biden) who is running for president - which was based off of third party information.

I feel if the whistleblower worked for Joe the Democrats will have some explaining to do.

SPC David S. - We have no idea who the whistleblower is or if he works for any campaign. Even if they did, the problem isn't the messenger, it's the contents of the message that all turned out to be true.
