I'd like to know how the current system works and what are all the inputs. How many total databases and where is the information stored and updated. We have all these Lean Six Sigma and process improvement experts- let them look at the current system and advise where the upgrades need to occur. It is evident from the Florida shooting the the Department of Education and local Police made an agreement to not report acts of indiscipline. There is the first breakdown in the system counterproductive. 3 layers of government failed. HIPPA and the Privacy Act shield medical data being submitted to outside agencies.

This is no different than the GOP and it's repeated votes to repeal Obamacare when they knew whatever they passed would be vetoed. Once they got the power to actually do it: Nothing...

You are right. I remember the days when Ted Kennedy and Bob Dole could disagree vehemently on the Senate floor, then go play racquetball or have a drink and work out a compromise. They don't know what this is now, and view it as a badge of honor not to do so. But when the other party is in, they both scream "bipartisanship."
