Consequences of 2018: Mad Nadler attacks our rights

This knucklehead is the reason I and my family are all members of the NRA. These Utopian Socialist believers feel that guns will be unnecessary in the not to distant future when we are all living in peace and harmony.

Well tell that to the citizens of Great Britain, Australia and other countries where mandatory firearms turn ins have taken place and are the reason why firearms are only in the hands of bigots, criminals and the like.

Where the average citizen cannot protect nor defend themselves from assault, robbery or even death. He continues to try and make the argument that society will be simpler, more peaceful and fair when the only individuals who may possess firearms will be our gov't or special branches of it. He has even suggested that we should control the use of firearms and their possession by our military?

What naive person can honestly say that removing the firearm from our society will make us all tranquil and calm? There will always be another weapon that can be as easily wielded against others in our society be it knives, hatchets, baseball bats, automobiles or drugs.

Lastly does this man know anything about Hitler, Mussolini, Mao, or Stalin? You can argue about the reasoning, but the point here is that disarmed citizens are vulnerable, and that there are many historical examples of disarmed citizens being killed and oppressed by their own government. The excuse given by authorities that they need to take guns away from citizens in order to lower crime rates is not supported by facts. Even if a government does not turn on its own citizens after disarming them, people are less safe – because unarmed citizens are easy targets to criminals. Over and over again, it has been clearly shown that taking guns away from citizens does not lead to a decrease in crime but rather a dramatic increase.

The 2nd amendment is not about duck hunting, or deer hunting. It is about having the ability and the right to defend oneself and your family. It doesn’t matter if that threat is a burglar, or the Federal Government. A disarmed population is fair game for any president who may be aspiring to become a dictator. Having its citizens armed was the plain and simple intent of the founding fathers of our country.

One final note is that this gun grab legislation doesn't just effect the AR-15. It effects any and all firearms to include your grand dad's pheasant gun or your dad's deer rifle. It will be illegal to own any such firearm unless you can give good reason for doing so.
