So, now the question is why he was in a classroom with students to begin with? Once again, multiple warning signs were ignored with predictable results.

A proper background check for both the gun and being a teacher could have prevented this. Funny thing, I was once denied a job at WalMart for a background check, but was able to get a job at a school. True story, I needed a second job because my wife lost hers due to cutbacks in her school district. I applied for a job at Walmart and was denied, applied for a job as a teacher's aide in another school district and got the job. Sometimes, the system fails completely!
