There will be struggles and a few challengers may even be harmed, thats the Communist way after all. But Xi will emerge, Communist regimes dont slip quietly away.

I have always found it interesting that one of our most flawed Presidents, Richard Nixon, did more for China than all its communist leaders combined. In opening relations with China, he opened the door to economic prosperity that not even the most corrupt communist could stem. Thus, China has developed along two paths independent of each other. The communists still rule but with dwindling effect as more and more of the population liberate themselves through entrepreneurship. Yes, the government still has the guns, but the people pay for them. Thus, capitalism is threatening the Chinese government even more than Progressive Leftism is threatening America. It seems that we are in a race to see which government succumbs to internal forces first.
