Yep, in Massachusetts We learn that also and also throwing some road salt, sand or both on the icy surface. Snow and ice are always part of winter here.

I know how the guys feels, its 68 at my house in SoCal. I might have to put on insulated flip-flops and my long shorts. I hate winter!!!
