The President of the United States, whoever he/she may be, is the defacto leader of their party. Despite RINOs and Never Trumpers, Donald Trump is the leader of the GOP. Watch carefully over the next 18 months or so as he picks off all comers, one by one. Why? Because his America First, and Make America Great Again agenda resonates with the vast majority of voters. Love him or hate him, the years under Trump, despite him being spied on, targeted, disparaged, his family attacked; he did more for this country than any previous President. Snopes states it is true that the administration did the updates, not if the list are true or not.
