Back then our Fellow Servicemembers even participated in nuclear testing so getting a ride above a rotary copter sure! I'd just be damn slow getting off the thing after I stopped flying!

SGT (Join to see) It is a precursor to the design of modern drones. There are several companies that are working to build a drone with the power and size necessary to carry passengers. There is one the looks like a cross between the Aerocycle and motorcycle. Soon it will be commercially available. I would, but I highly doubt that they will ever build one in fat guy sizes.

SGT (Join to see) - True. Additionally, some of them are being designed to be autonomous. No way I would get into a vehicle where the driver doesn't have skin in the game if something goes wrong. I also saw one that has a primary motor, backup motors on all four booms, and a parachute since it cannot auto rotate.

that's one of that's reasons it failed they kept making it more and more complex and heavy. Although I would not be opposed to a gyroscopic stabilizer
