MSgt George Cater Does it matter? If they are going to report, they should at least, I don't know, not confuse you folks with Chinese soldiers.

That's my point. They don't care. I understand they have to be generalists reporting on everything, but I also believe many of them with their liberal bent, see all servicemen the same. No good guys, mostly bad guys - at best a necessary evil - and they don't respect the subject enough to even do a half-assed google search for a pic labeled Marines. PO3 Steven Sherrill

hmmm......"Army infantry and the Marines; Navy SEALs and Delta Force".....shouldn't this be the difference in Army's use and doctrine of the Infantry 11 series and the Marine 0311 series? SEAL team SIX vs. Delta Force? Rather than call someone else out on their mistakes, take a short second to make sure you have your ducks in a row, and your comparisons are correct. You're killin me Smalls.

Simple, weapon system beside the almost look alike Navy NWU I uniform, anyone would know they are not US, then you have Airframe.
Now being a Brown Water type Navy Sand sailor. there have been many and I mean many times we have been called Soldiers and or Marine Engineers. Some history example is WW II Engineers using pontoons to cross the Rhine, was reported that Army Engineers bridging the crossing for Pattons troops, when it was Navy Seabees. This was same with some of the Beach landings in Pacific. The thing is Gen Patton made them wear Army Uniforms, and this has happen in todays conflicts, Navy IA's wear Army uniform when attached with them and or JTF's under Army control. I had to wear the wear the Army uniform couple of times. The only way you could tell is look close for US. Navy and rank on front tab, and the Don't tread on me and I also wear a Seabee tab.
