Dear Hollywood: We Don’t Care About Your Politics.
As court jesters of old, our actors, singers and other entertainers get paid to entertain…
In the months leading up to the election of President Trump, and subsequently after he was sworn in, we have witnessed a never-ending stream of Hollywood celebrities using their platform to tell the rest of us how to feel and what to do. These days, award shows are less about the shows, music, and awards than they are about the thirty second spot that a winner or presenter gets to be able to talk about how much is wrong with the United States and its political system.

I would prefer if my singers, sing; my actors, act; and my athletes, play. I don't care if our opinions match or differ. If I am paying for a night out and they defecate a big old stinking pile of their political opinion, environmental expertise, or lifestyle opinion in the middle of my time; it is the last time they will see a red cent of mine.
Yes I don't watch much TV, go to movies, listen to music less than 20 years old, or watch pro sports. There are a lot of good books.

I guess their incomes equate to a valid opinion..well all you overpaid Hollywood types..it does not. Excell at your profession, stay out of politics..
