Deep Purple - Woman from Tokyo

All I know is that the Asian beauty I have thinks these (American) women are just funny. God I love her.

When I was assigned to USS Blue Ridge (LCC-19) in 1973, the junior calibration techs
I supervised introduced me to Deep Purple and The Moody Blues. One night while at White Beach, Okinawa they invited me to a club in Naha where a local tribute group called Nichigahara (spelling?) was doing their best imitation of Deep Purple's songs.
We sat in bleachers six high just ten feet from the band in the tiny nightclub. When we left to return to the ship I discovered that I couldn't hear a thing for the next six hours.
The group went on tour in Japan a month after Deep Purple did and supposedly outdrew them. Great music that I supplemented with Cream, The Doors and Steppenwolf.
