I truly believe they are doing this because there is no "meat" at the center of this inquiry and it won't stand up under questioning from the other side. The only way they can hold on is to control all the cards but that is going to backfire.

SSG Matthew Adkins - Actually the Republicans have been restricted in the questions they can ask witnesses. Trump has no legal council in the process. There is an old saying, “A good prosecutor can indict a ham sandwich “. That is what we have now, because only one side is being presented.

SSG Matthew Adkins - But, this isn’t a grand jury proceeding. As I said, a grand jury proceeding is so one sided a ham sandwich could be indicted. We are taking about an elected president. Just now in Augusta three sailors were released from rape charges because there wasn’t enough evidence. Happens all the time. There are rules in the House and the Democrats are violating them. And it is NOT Fox News, in this case, it is the Washington Post!!!

But trump is presumed guilty with no indictment? Come on, matthew! We've heard that argument before, "we have to pass it before we can find out what's in it." Now it's, "we must impeach to find out what crime was committed." We have all read the ukrainian transcript, there was no quid-pro-quo. And, "son-of-a-bitch" nothing anywhere near biden's "fire the prosecutor or no aid money."

They have already said multiple times why they are doing this... they can't beat him at the ballot box. They can't find a single Democrat in this country of 330 million people who is just a little bit sane and not crazier than the sh#t house rat. They can't do it.

The problem is, only one halfway mainstream is unacceptable to the Democratic base.. David Axlerod said “Biden is in the candidate protection program.” This is a mess for the Democrats.

It's rather odd that they are trying to remove the duly elected President who has committed no crime one year before the current term is up. How long is this "inquiry" going to last? Their move tells me one thing, they know they have no chance at beating Trump in the 2020 election and all of this is an attempted political party coup. Their only desire is power and their hatred drives their agenda.

The only way the can get Trump is to involve Republicans yet they alienate Republicans. Unless enough Democratic voters sound off they will impeach. Trump will not get removed from office by the Senate. The Democrats are hoping the stain of impeachment will block Trump from getting re-elected. There is an old saying “sh*t in one hand wish in the other and see which gets filled first”.
