I'm fine with these people giving out shots. It's just a simple IM injections is my understanding. The only thing that concerns me is that some people WILL have an anaphylactic reaction requiring immediate life saving interventions. I'm a bit concerned that a dentist may not deal with that competently.

SPC Cathy Goessman I Think They'll Deal with It Just Fine. A "Dentist" gave me something to Relax Me at the Wee Young age of 7 before some Work. It was during the Time of Some Radical Drugs, Experiments, MK-Ultra. Yes I went into Anaphylactic Shock, Epinephrine is Amazing from almost a Non Existent Heartbeat to My Heart Wanting to Explode Out of My Chest! Mellow to Sicker than a Dog! As a DCPO Lecturing about the "Injector" for Chemical Warfare. Nothing Quite Like Having Personal Experience.

I hate to be the bearer of bad new, but dentists, paramedics, and EMT'S are already administering vaccines. In both the county health dept mass inoculation events and our free clinic events. All those specialties are helping the nurses. All you have to do is watch three lame videos of a nurses aide in California, take the short quizzes, get your certificate, and then have the director of the event sign you off after 2 injections.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel For my second Moderna injection in Moreno Valley, CA, I was impressed that the ‘injector’ was ‘a traveling RN’ from Western Michigan. Having such competent, trained personnel give injections is Expensive!
