SFC (Join to see) I attended the ceremony for providing citizenship to two of my soldiers down range for serving in the United States Army. I think if they have served proudly to defind this nation and the constitution they should be afforded that opportunity. That is just my opinion! By the way, those two soldiers who received their citizenship are still werving today and they are excellent citizens of these United States and they are paying taxes and working hard to support their families! That means something to me!

I don't think they should have been deported, after all they served our country in war!

I have serve with two fine gentlemen who only had their green card, and obtained their citizenship only after a long fight. One even was naturalized while serving in Iraq. It's not right the military personnel have to literally fight to become citizens of the country they are defending

If they have volunteered to serve this country, and have gone downrange, they have earned citizenship more than those that were born here but did not lift a finger to defend our country, IMHO.
