If it was top secret how did we know about it COL Mikel J. Burroughs? :-)
The US Air Force has always been "in space" in many ways :-)
Since they were the Army Air Corps through WWII the Air Force has pushed the limits of speed, altitude, and manned flight. Many of the early astronauts were US Air Force officers and all were pilots. I think it is very appropriate for the US Air Force to be in space. I think they should generally take the lead in those COCOMS that focus on space including STRATCOM and SPACECOM which seems especially appropriate to this discussion :-)

PO1 John Miller - Can't keep the vehicle TS, it's the functions and applications. This thing is gonna be like a John Deere tractor -- great frame and you can add a ton of stuff on to it. Pick up the trash, snatch Dr. Evil's satellite, spy on particular regions or activities, provide secure comm links.

Come on guys, there are things you can say and cannot say. The fact that military has intelligence gathering is not secret. The specifics could be.

CMSgt Mark Schubert That is a very good one LMAO! That's my point. Why does stuff like this get published for the whole world to know. Is there anything really Top Secret left in the world?
