This is my last presentation and article for the day by Kimberly Bolen. I want to thank her personally for reaching out to me and allowing me to present some of the material she has put together to help veterans, active duty service members from all branches, and retirees. She has worked diligently on over 1,300 cases pro-bono in the last (5) years. I salute her and her efforts. She is a true American and friend to all of us here on RP.

"There's liars, there's damn liars, and there's statistics..." Still, even one veteran suicide is a tragedy, isn't it?

This stupid methodology was obviously created by people who don't want to report the true numbers. Do the leaders of the VA know about this gaming that is transpiring. This is unscientific and unethical at best.

MAJ Ken Landgren - Major; When "success" or "failure" is judged solely by "the numbers" you REALLY want to control how those numbers are generated and make sure that the numbers that are generated are the numbers you want reported.

"Suicide rates are presented as annual rates per 100,000 Service members. When the number of suicides for a particular population is below 20, a rate is not presented because rates based on such small numbers of events are statistically unreliable..."
