http://www.oann.com/directv-allowing-nfl-sunday-ticket-refunds-after-protests-ratings-already-down/I was glad to read that AT&T relented in offering refunds for the 3 million Direct TV subscribers who wanted their money back from Sunday season ticket purchases after so many of these overpaid sports players decided to become public fools.
IMHO it has been shameful that these former good role models fro our nations young have taken this deplorable stance. The National Anthem is focused on the hopeful state of this nation as is the motto on the Statue of Liberty. We are not perfect in any sense as a people, but, that is not going to be reversed by disrespecting the nation and what it stands for.

DirecTV is offering refunds to customers who want to cancel their NFL Sunday ticket package following recent outrage over football players kneeling during the national anthem.
Previously, subscribers who wanted to cancel or downgrade the almost $300 package had to do so before the season, which began on September 9th.
Season passes purchased after September 10 were generally non-refundable.
However, AT&T decided to change the policy in light of the nationwide upheaval.
New Nielsen ratings reveal NFL viewership is already dropping just three weeks into the 2017 season.
Viewership for national telecasts has dipped to just over 15 million this year after averaging nearly 18 million through the first weeks of last season.
This comes as league-wide protests during the national anthem continue to spur controversy.
On Sunday, more players than ever knelt during the anthem, while others locked arms as a sign of unity.
President Trump has called for the league to set a rule preventing players from kneeling during the anthem.
He also praised the Dallas Cowboys for standing up as a team for the anthem after they took a knee beforehand.
The president also applauded Dallas Cowboy’s owner Jerry Jones for demanding all his players to stand for the national anthem during Monday night’s game against the Arizona Cardinals.
In a tweet posted Wednesday, the president said Jerry Jones is a winner who knows how to get things done and hIS players will stand for our country.
His praise comes after Jones demanded his players stand up for the national anthem ahead of the game’s kickoff Monday night."
