Even if Russia released the emails, the emails themselves ahow that it's the DNC that was meddling in the electoral process.

Hello no SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. I think he was half kidding, half serious as its a known fact that the Russians were behind a lot of hacking incidents.

The only issue I have with this whole thing is that Trump essentially placed a bounty out for those emails. Sarcastic or not, is Russia able to discern how serious his statement was? Is it possible that someone would be willing to take that statement at face value? This could potentially lead to an increase in cyber attacks on our infrastructure.
And what if they did find the 30,000 emails, would they be able to reasonably expect a reward? What if North Korea presented him with the emails? What if ISIS managed to get him the emails? To me, it's like so many SHARP classes I've attended: it's not the intent of his statement, but how it is perceived, especially concerning adversarial nations. His comment was just way too careless for my taste.
