fantastic share. People often forget the role a green beret had in this whole process.

MSG Johnathan Mathes I happen to agree with you but we can't make others agree with us. We would not be the USA then.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - Ma'am not trying to make them different.. just making the point that its not what a hero would do.. and that there is a place and time ... and if it was truly a revolution for justice then it would be at the courthouses, police stations places, where it could make a difference vs just a fight for attention with no real offering other than that.

SCPO Jason McLaughlin - I would use every stage except the one he was on. All it did was point to the flag and anthem. If you want to make statement, protest where it hits home to the subject matter at hand. Football had nothing to do with what he was protesting against but it was wrapped up in the flag and anthem...wrong place and wrong time in my opinion.

Lt Col Scott Shuttleworth - I’ll first state that I disagree with Kaepernick. I disagree with protesting at work, and his method of doing so.

That said, it’s not just during the season. If you note, he hasn’t played a game since the 2016 season. Additionally, the past two offseasons have been complete with discussions pertaining to the debate that arose from his protests.

I agree, some folks kneeled as a gimmick. Kaepernick didn’t. He could have shut up and been collecting checks for millions, even as a backup, for the next 5-10 years. And he gave that up. Agree or disagree with him, he’s at least committed, and that’s to be respected.

You take away his right to protest what is next? No where is it written in the Constitution you have to agree with them or listen.

I agree. He has the right to protest and I will stand up for that all day...that is what I fought for. However, others have the right to throw back at him for the reason of the protest or the perception thereof. I will never take away someones right to protest, I may not agree with it at all but that is my right as well to not support it.
